WHERE CAN I FIND YOU LOCALLY?

You can find us every Saturday at the Harrisonburg Farmer's Market from 8AM-1PM EST from April through December.

 

DO YOU HAVE A STORE?

We do not currently have a brick and mortar store, but we sell wholesale to local retailers in Virginia.

 

WHERE IS MY ORDER AND WHEN DOES IT SHIP?

Orders will usually ship within 1-2 days after the order has been placed. You should receive tracking information once you order have been shipped and status notifications when your package has been delivered.


WHY IS SHIPPING EXPENSIVE?

We understand shipping costs are high, and that shipping prices in general have gone up over the years and continues to rise. Our shipping prices are exactly what it costs us to purchase a shipping label to get your order to your door. Whatever you pay for shipping is exactly what we're paying to buy the label.

We will continue to analyze how we can decrease our shipping prices as we expand our operation and footprint.

 

HOW DOES YOUR HEAT SCALE WORK?

Our heat scale ranges from 1-10 with each of our sauces showing a graphic that displays where the heat level falls. We do not use extracts in our sauces, so our 10 on the heat scale would be from pepper heat only.

We determine the heat level for our sauces based upon feedback from our customers at markets and events, hot sauce connoisseurs, and extensive taste testing from Furious Sauces owners after going a period of time without any capsaicin in their system.

 

DO YOUR SAUCES CONTAIN EXTRACTS?

We do not use any extracts in our sauces. All of our sauces are made from pepper heat only.

 

DO I NEED TO REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING?

Refrigerating our sauces is completely up to you. You'll find that our sauces also taste different at different temperatures. Some of our sauces, you may enjoy at room temperature, and others you may enjoy a little bit on the colder side, refrigerated.

Our sauces will last at room temperature roughly 3 months, depending on the sauce. Opened bottles that are stored in the fridge, will last 6 months. Unopened bottles will last up to 2 years.
