Picked this up today at Valley Pike Market. When I got home I made some Spanish rice and put this on it. Wow!!! This is really good. An excellent amount of heat, not too much to eat everyday, but a nice burn. The smoky flavor of the ghost pepper is there while the burn creeps up, as it does with ghost peppers. My fav sauce I have tried from this company. Will be trying more for sure!!
We're happy to collaborate with Valley Pike and it's nice to see folks chime in on the sauces that they've picked up from there. The Spanish rice sounds fabulous, Bradley! Happy you're enjoying it so much! If you're ever in the H'burg area, be sure to stop by the market there on Saturdays and you can try some of our other sauces!
This is my second bottle of Dragon’s Smoke. It is exactly what a hot sauce should be: Flavorful, hot, smoky, yet not hot just to be hot! I plan on buying a lot more in the future!
We are happy to hear you are enjoying Dragon's Smoke, Anthony! It's definitely one of our favorites, we can't get enough of it!
My nephew gave me a bottle of homemade hot sauce about 2 years ago - that stuff was exceptional - almost beyond words. Slow accumulating heat not so hot that you lose the refined ability to taste. Haven't been able to locate that dude but he had an awesome sauce. Then, a friend of mine told me to try Furious Sauces' Dragon Smoke - thought it was the same recipe I've been searching for over 2 years. This is also exceptional and practically the clone. Haven't tried the others but if you like good smokey heat that doesn't scorch your taste buds to the point you can't taste the flavors - give their Dragon Smoke a try.
Wow what an amazing story Rick! We're happy that our Dragon's Smoke brings back memories of that favorite sauce you had in the past. Flavor is our number one priority with our sauces and we're glad you think so too!
Excellent balance of heat and flavor. Through the smoky flavorful undertones, the ghost makes it's presence known. The heat complements, rather than overpower the flavors of the other ingredients and the food. If you like some good heat that actually enhances your dishes, this is the sauce for you.
We're happy to hear you are enjoying Dragon's Smoke Rafael! Thank you for letting us know your thoughts on the sauce!
My wife and I happened across the Furious Sauces stand at the Harrisonburg Farmer's Market and, of course, we had to try a few samples. Dragon's Smoke immediately stood out to us as a winner. Yes, it's quite hot. But the smokey flavor is what really sold it for us. Think chipotle tabasco, but hotter and more flavorful. We've tried adding it to Southwestern food, pulled pork, chili mac, and pretty much anything we could think of. This sauce makes anything taste better!
Great review Ben, thank you! We're happy you like Dragon's Smoke. It's definitely been our most popular sauce this year, although Golden Elixir has surprisingly started to get more attention. Give Dragon's Smoke a try on some ribs, it tastes great!
